Fiat launches Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback compact SUVs for 2026 debut

Fiat, part of Stellantis, unveiled two new compact‑SUV models – the Grizzly and the Grizzly Fastback – that will enter production on the group’s global platform. Both variants share a length under 4.5 m and will be offered with a range of powertrains, including efficient gasoline engines, mild‑hybrid options and fully electric versions.

The standard Grizzly targets families seeking spacious, practical city‑friendly utility, while the Fastback version adds a sportier roof line and a longer rear cargo area for lifestyle‑oriented buyers. Production will be distributed across Stellantis plants to serve core markets in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa. Market launch is scheduled for the second half of 2026, with pricing and detailed specifications to be announced later.

The models are intended to broaden Fiat’s presence in the compact‑SUV segment and compete with rivals such as the Dacia Bigster, leveraging shared technology across Stellantis brands to keep development costs low while expanding the company’s electrified lineup.
