Fiat unveils Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback SUVs on 127th anniversary

On 11 July, Fiat marked its 127th anniversary with a video that introduced two new family‑oriented models – the Grizzly SUV and the Grizzly Fastback. The video, staged in an Italian civil‑registry office, features CEO Olivier Francois explaining that the Grizzly is a compact SUV designed for space and comfort (4.4 m long) while the Fastback offers a more distinctive silhouette (4.5 m long) and a 600‑litre boot.

Both models will be offered with gasoline, mild‑hybrid and fully‑electric powertrains delivering up to 145 hp, and will be available with manual or automatic transmissions in seven colour options. Production of the Grizzly line will take place in Brazil, with the first markets being Argentina and other South‑American countries, while the range is also targeted at Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South America.

The public debut is scheduled for the Paris Motor Show in October 2026, and a commercial launch is planned for the fourth quarter of 2026. The launch is part of Fiat’s broader strategy to expand its family‑car portfolio alongside models such as the Grande Panda.
