Fiat unveils Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback SUVs for global rollout
Fiat announced the upcoming Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback compact SUVs, the first new models in the brand’s C‑segment line‑up since the Grande Panda. The two versions share a global platform used by the Citroën C3, Opel Frontera and other Stellantis models, and will be under 4.5 m long. Both will be offered with petrol (1.2‑l three‑cylinder), mild‑hybrid and fully electric powertrains, with electric versions expected to carry 44‑ or 54 kWh batteries. Pricing is targeted below €30,000 (about £25,000). Production is planned for Stellantis facilities in Morocco, with market launch scheduled for the second half of 2026 in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. A rebadged version for the United States will be sold by Chrysler as the Arrow/Arrow Cross. Fiat CEO Olivier Francois said the Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback “complete our affordable family‑mobility lineup, smart, accessible and rooted in Fiat’s design DNA.” The models aim to compete with rivals such as the Dacia Bigster, VW Tiguan and Kia Sportage in the highly competitive compact SUV segment.
