Fiat unveils Grizzly C‑segment SUV with hybrid and electric options

Fiat has revealed its new Grizzly model, a compact C‑segment vehicle slated for launch at the Paris motor show in October. The model will be offered in two body styles – a conventional five‑door hatchback and a fastback variant – both under 4.5 m in length.

The Grizzly will be built on Stellantis’ Smart Car platform, sharing underpinnings with models such as the Opel Frontera and Citroën C3 Aircross. It will be available with three powertrain options: a 1.2‑litre three‑cylinder gasoline engine producing 100 hp, a hybrid version that adds a 28.5 kW electric motor for a combined 145 hp, and a fully electric version expected to use a 44 kWh or 54 kWh battery delivering about 113 hp. Fiat emphasizes that the vehicle will carry an “affordable” price tag and will be sold across Europe, the Middle East and Latin American markets, including Poland.

Detailed technical specifications have not yet been released, and pricing figures remain undisclosed pending the post‑summer presentation.
