Fiat unveils Grizzly SUV with multiple powertrain options
Fiat has unveiled the Grizzly, a new B-SUV designed to compete in the segment occupied by models like the Toyota Yaris Cross. The vehicle will be built on the Stellantis Smart Car platform, sharing its architecture with the Citroën C3 Aircross and Opel Frontera.
The Grizzly will be offered in two distinct body styles: a traditional SUV silhouette and a sportier fastback version. The fastback variant is expected to be approximately 4,490 mm in length, providing a larger cargo capacity of over 500 liters.
Fiat plans to provide at least three powertrain options, including micro-hybrid, fully electric, and internal combustion engines. Fiat Europe Director Gaetano Thorel noted that the Grizzly is a global project intended for various markets, including Turkey and Latin America, with an expected launch in Europe between late 2026 and early 2027. The company aims to implement an aggressive pricing strategy to remain competitive in the C-segment.
