Fiat unveils Multiplay concept car at Paris Motor Show
Fiat has introduced the Multiplay concept vehicle at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, presenting a modular "3-in-1" design that functions as a family MPV, an SUV, and a pickup truck. Measuring 4.45 meters in length, the vehicle utilizes a proprietary architecture called “Metamorfosi” to allow the rear section to slide along the C-pillar.
In its family configuration, the Multiplay offers a 6+1 seating arrangement, including a flexible “Petsenger Seat” designed for pets, children, or storage. When converted to a pickup, the vehicle provides four seats and an open cargo area suitable for bicycles and outdoor equipment. The rear spoiler can also rotate to serve as an integrated bicycle rack.
Presented by Stellantis strategic advisor Olivier François and Arnaud Belloni, CEO of Fiat, Abarth, and Lancia, the Multiplay serves as a design laboratory for future mobility solutions rather than a confirmed production model. The concept draws inspiration from the historical Fiat Multipla, aiming to address changing daily needs for space and utility within a compact footprint.
