Fiat unveils Multiplina and Multiplay concept vehicles
At the 2026 Paris Motor Show, Fiat introduced two new concept vehicles aimed at exploring urban micromobility and versatile family transport: the Multiplina and the Multiplay.
The Multiplina is an all-electric, ultra-compact concept designed as a heavy quadricycle (L7 category). Measuring 3.04 meters in length, 1.40 meters in width, and 1.53 meters in height, it is engineered to accommodate four occupants. Fiat positions this model as a bridge between the ultra-compact Topolino and conventional passenger cars, focusing on daily urban tasks such as commuting and school runs.
The Multiplay concept explores a 3-in-1 approach, combining the characteristics of an MPV, an SUV, and a pickup truck. Measuring 4.45 meters in length, it features a 'Metamorfosi' C-pillar system that allows the rear module to slide, transforming the vehicle from a 6+1 seat family configuration into a four-seat pickup with an open cargo bed. The concept also includes a rotating rear spoiler that functions as a bicycle rack for two bikes. Both concepts draw inspiration from the space-efficient philosophy of the historic 1956 Fiat 600 Multipla.
