FICCO/AL investigates bank equipment thefts in Maceió

The Integrated Force to Combat Organized Crime in Alagoas (FICCO/AL) has launched Operation Dactilar to investigate the theft of equipment from Caixa Econômica Federal bank branches in Maceió. The investigation aims to identify a network of receivers for the stolen materials.

Authorities report that a primary suspect, who is already serving a prison sentence for other crimes, allegedly broke into a branch to steal equipment. Search and seizure warrants were executed at the prison facility where the suspect is held, with support from the Alagoas Penal Police.
