The Federation of Industries of Paraíba (FIEPB) met with state government officials to discuss infrastructure improvements and energy transition initiatives aimed at strengthening industrial development in Paraíba.

During the meeting in João Pessoa, the Secretary of Infrastructure and Water Resources, Jovânio Gomes, emphasized the importance of aligning infrastructure planning with regional industrial demands to attract new investments.

Regarding energy, Executive Secretary of Energy and Energy Transition Robson Barbosa highlighted the state's potential in biomass, wind, and solar power. A partnership between the state and FIEPB was announced to map bioenergy in the region, with results expected to be presented in Campina Grande on August 21.
