FIEPB institutional initiatives in Paraíba

Overview

The Federation of Industries of the State of Paraíba (FIEPB) has engaged in multiple collaborative initiatives involving social support and industrial development.

In a partnership with the Public Ministry of Paraíba (MPPB), the FIEPB is working to establish a support project for children, adolescents, and caregivers who are victims of violence. This initiative intends to create three hub houses in João Pessoa, Campina Grande, and Cajazeiras to provide psychological, social, and legal assistance. The FIEPB system will also utilize SESI, SENAI, and IEL to assist in the professional qualification and job placement of beneficiaries.

Separately, the FIEPB met with state government officials to discuss industrial infrastructure and energy transition. Discussions focused on aligning infrastructure planning with industrial demands and mapping regional bioenergy potential, including biomass, wind, and solar power, to attract new investments to the state.
