Fiesta del Poncho honored at Federal Tourism Industry Awards

The National and International Fiesta del Poncho has been honored at the fourth edition of the Federal Tourism Industry Awards (FED). The distinction recognizes the event for its ability to create lasting tourist experiences by integrating culture, gastronomy, music, and traditional crafts.

During the ceremony held at Colón Fábrica in Buenos Aires, Roberto Brunello, a businessman and former Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Sports of Catamarca, received the Career Achievement Award in Business Leadership. Representing Catamarca, Minister Daiana Roldán accepted the award for the festival alongside tourism officials.

With over fifty years of history, the Fiesta del Poncho serves as a major cultural expression and a primary tourist attraction for the province of Catamarca, bringing together artisans, musicians, and producers to share generational traditions.
