CRB transfer ban lifted, club cleared to sign players

FIFA announced on 31 July 2026 that the disciplinary process against Clube de Regatas Brasil (CRB) has been closed, ending the transfer ban imposed on 27 May for failure to submit required documentation to the FIFA Clearing House. The club complied with all conditions, including paying a US$5,000 fine, and the ban was permanently lifted. The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has been notified, allowing CRB to register new signings for the second half of the Série B season. The club indicated that midfielder Estevão, previously with Ypiranga‑RS, is the first expected reinforcement.

CRB reaffirmed its commitment to adhere to national and international football regulations following the sanction’s removal.
