Filca Cisl Lazio launches free hotline for workers under heat‑work suspension

The Filca Cisl union in Lazio has introduced a toll‑free 800‑034‑264 hotline that allows construction and quarry workers to report anonymously any failure to apply the regional heat‑work suspension ordinance. The ordinance mandates a halt to outdoor work from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. when temperatures rise, with guidance published on the Worklimate 3.0 portal in partnership with INAIL.

Union secretary‑general Francesco Agostini described the service as a vital contribution to workplace safety and legality, calling for a broad information campaign for both firms and employees. He also said the union awaits further action from regional governor Nicola Rocca to strengthen the measure if climatic conditions worsen.
