Film screenings spotlight Miguel Babo and Juliana Rojas

Portuguese filmmaker Miguel Babo premiered his multidisciplinary film "Por Mais Um Dia", featuring Sónia Araújo in her cinema debut alongside Paula Sá and Sónia Aragão. The movie intertwines visual contemplation with dialogues on identity and mortality, and includes Babo himself in an acting role.

In Brazil, Canal Brasil aired a marathon to mark director Juliana Rojas' 45‑year career, broadcasting four of her notable works: the short "A Passagem do Cometa", the feature "Trabalhar Cansa", the recent "Cidade; Campo" and the award‑winning "As Boas Maneiras". The program highlighted themes of women's health, family upheaval, urban‑rural migration and unconventional relationships.
