FIMER and Redington Solar Sign Pan-India Deal to Boost Solar Inverter Distribution

FIMER India Private Limited and Redington Solar, a subsidiary of Redington Limited, signed a pan‑India distributorship agreement for FIMER's string inverter portfolio on 27 April 2026 at RenewX Chennai. The partnership leverages Redington Solar's nationwide channel network to make FIMER's residential 3 kW and 5 kW inverter solutions, as well as its commercial range, more accessible to commercial‑and‑industrial customers, solar developers, EPC firms and rooftop installers across India.

The companies say the agreement will provide single‑point distribution support, including product availability, competitive pricing, credit assistance and logistics. It is intended to accelerate deployment under the government’s PM Surya Ghar initiative and to help India meet its target of 500 GW of non‑fossil energy capacity by 2030. Senior executives highlighted the joint effort to scale clean‑energy technologies, with FIMER’s senior manager Upasana Boruah noting the partnership will “ensure FIMER string inverters are accessible to every solar developer, EPC, and installer,” and Redington’s Head of Business Dinesh Babu V adding that sustainability is central to the collaboration.
