Financial institutions launch new tools and synergies in Venezuela and Dominican Republic

In Coro, Venezuela, the Cámara Industrial, Comercial y Agrícola de Falcón (CICAF) held the ‘CICAF Break’ meeting to foster synergy between the productive sector and the banking system. The event included representatives from public and private banks, such as Banco Fondo Común, Banco Mercantil, and Bancamiga. CICAF President José Ávila emphasized the need to strengthen bilateral relations and use financial products to drive the local economy and technological reconversion for businesses.

In Moca, Dominican Republic, COOPCREDI launched a new debit card aimed at strengthening its commercial ecosystem and digital transformation. The institution, which manages assets exceeding RD$5,700 million and serves over 11,000 active members, introduced the card to provide more agile tools for SMEs, companies, and entrepreneurs to manage daily operations and integrate into modern payment networks.
