Finland sees mixed sunshine and showers as mid‑week temperatures rise
A warm air mass from southern Sweden will move into Finland early in the week, bringing temperatures that may reach near 23 °C in the south. The forecast calls for alternating sunshine and rain, with the heaviest showers expected in the central and northern parts of the country, especially in Lapland where thunderstorms are possible. Rainfall is also likely in the western interior and the higher elevations of northern Finland, with daily totals in some areas exceeding 10 mm.
Temperatures will generally stay between 15 °C and 20 °C across most of the country, with the southern and central regions seeing the warmest spell. The weather will remain unsettled through the weekend, with rain moving northward and clearer, drier conditions returning to the south.
