Finland sees mixed weekend weather with rain and warming temperatures

The Finnish Meteorological Institute predicts variable conditions across Finland for the weekend. A low‑pressure system will bring rain to the western and northern regions, while the east remains mostly dry and sunny. Temperatures are expected to stay between 15 °C and 20 °C in most areas, with the eastern part possibly exceeding 20 °C and even reaching heat‑like readings early next week.

Nighttime frost is set to disappear, with night lows ranging from 5 °C to 8 °C in the north and 10 °C–15 °C elsewhere. Wind speeds are increasing, especially in the southwest where gusts may reach 15 m/s. Overall, the forecast shifts from the unusually cold week to a milder, unsettled pattern with occasional strong showers and thunderstorms in the western and northern zones.
