Finland to experience unseasonably warm weather in late September
Finland is expected to experience unseasonably warm weather during the final week of September. According to Jani Sorsa, a duty meteorologist at the Finnish Meteorological Institute, temperatures in the southern part of the country are forecast to rise between 15 and 20 degrees Celsius.
In northern Finland, temperatures are expected to reach between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius. While rain may persist in eastern areas from Kainuu to Eastern Lapland through Sunday, most of the country is expected to see clear and sunny conditions.
A single rain area is predicted to move across the central and northern parts of the country on Tuesday, potentially bringing windy conditions, particularly in Northern Lapland. High pressure is expected to peak mid-week, leading to drier and sunnier weather toward the end of the week.
