Finland weather forecast predicts wind and temperature shifts

Weather conditions in Finland are shifting from a period of high pressure and warmth toward more unstable patterns. While southern and western regions have recently experienced temperatures between 20 and 24 degrees Celsius, a low-pressure system is moving in, bringing increased cloudiness and wind.

Forecasts indicate that wind speeds could reach gusts of 10–15 m/s across much of the country on Saturday, with the strongest winds expected in the south. Additionally, wildfire warnings have been issued for Åland and Satakunta due to the combination of strong winds and dry conditions. While daytime temperatures are expected to remain between 16 and 21 degrees Celsius, rain showers are anticipated to move through the southern and western parts of the country by Sunday.

In northern regions, temperatures have already seen significant drops, with some areas in Lapland recording temperatures as low as -6.6 degrees Celsius during early morning hours.
