Fiona Lowe, daughter of actor Chad Lowe, passes away

Fiona Lowe, the 13-year-old daughter of actor Chad Lowe and Kim Painter, passed away on September 29 following a suicide attempt. Family friends have suggested that the loss of the family home and belongings during the Palisades wildfires in 2025 significantly impacted her well-being.

Music executive Mykesha Robinson, a friend of the family, described Fiona as a “ray of light” and “sweet, loving and kind.” Robinson noted that Fiona and her daughter, Faith, were close childhood friends at Palisades Charter Elementary School. Robinson shared that Faith had recently attempted to reconnect with Fiona via Instagram shortly before her death.

In a statement, the Lowe family expressed their devastation, describing Fiona as a “loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance.” They noted she was the light of their lives and was deeply loved by her parents and sisters, Mabel and Nixie.
