FIP imposes fines on Scafati, Napoli, and Tortona basketball clubs

The Italian Basketball Federation (FIP) has issued several fines following the fourth round of the Serie A basketball season.

Longobardi Scafati received the most significant penalty, a 50,000 euro fine, for failing to comply with roster regulations. The club reportedly failed to meet the minimum number of Italian-trained players required after switching roster formulas.

Additionally, Napoli Basket was fined 1,200 euros due to collective and sporadic insults and threats from spectators toward referees. Bertram Tortona was also fined 600 euros for similar spectator misconduct. Napoli Basket also received a warning regarding a malfunction of mandatory equipment, specifically the main scoreboards.
