FiraTàrrega festival to feature eight companies from Lleida

The 46th edition of the FiraTàrrega festival will feature eight companies from the Lleida region, representing 14% of the total programming. The performances are scheduled to take place between September 10 and 13.

The participating companies include Alea Teatre, Cia. Apikipala, Festuc Teatre, Glòria Ribera, Penique Productions, Sound de Secà, Urko Maschinen, and Xip Xap. The selection covers various disciplines, such as street theatre, music, puppetry, interactive installations, and visual arts.

This year's presence of Lleida-based companies aims to highlight the importance of the Ponent theatrical industry within an international market that includes companies from nine different countries. Additionally, the festival has renewed its agreement with the Institut d’Estudis Ilerdencs of the Diputació de Lleida to support the Lleida Escena initiative, fostering professional exchange among cultural agents in the Lleida, Pirineu, and Aran regions.
