Fire-Boltt launches first smartphones Boltt Evo and Ace in India
Indian wearable maker Fire‑Boltt is expanding into smartphones with its new sub‑brand boltt. The company will debut two models – the Boltt Evo (4G) and the Boltt Ace (5G) – on August 25. Both phones will be manufactured in India and sold primarily through the e‑commerce platform Flipkart.
The devices are positioned in the Rs 10,000‑Rs 15,000 budget segment, directly competing with offerings from Redmi, Realme, Lava and others. Leaked specifications show the Evo equipped with a Unisoc T7250 octa‑core chipset, 4 GB RAM, 128 GB storage, a 6.67‑inch IPS display with 120 Hz refresh, a 50 MP main rear camera plus a 2 MP secondary sensor, an 8 MP front camera and a 6,000 mAh battery with 18 W fast charging. The Ace will support 5G connectivity and share a similar design language, featuring a punch‑hole selfie camera and a slim plastic frame.
Fire‑Boltt, which holds about a 9.7 % share of India’s smartwatch market, aims to leverage its existing customer base of over 40 million users to drive sales of the new phones.
