Fire incidents in Germany injure three and leave multiple car fires unexplained

Around 100 firefighters responded to a blaze in Niersbach, Germany, on the evening of June 13. A 70‑year‑old resident was working with a soldering iron when a fire broke out in his workshop, destroying a carport and an annex to his house. Three people suffered smoke‑inhalation injuries, two of whom were hospitalised.

In separate investigations, a series of nighttime vehicle fires have been reported in Wuppertal, Germany. Over several weeks, multiple cars have ignited under unclear circumstances, causing damage to nearby properties. Police suspect deliberate arson but have not identified suspects or motives, and the cases remain under investigation.
