Firefighting units conduct intensive emergency response training

Firefighting units in Wenden and Dietingen have recently completed intensive training exercises to enhance their emergency response capabilities.

In Wenden, 16 participants from Drolshagen, Olpe, and Wenden completed the Truppmann-Modul 3 training. The curriculum focused on practical firefighting techniques, including establishing water supplies from open water and hydrant networks, using extinguishing foam for vehicle fires, combating building fires via stairwells, and managing vegetation fires. The training concluded with both theoretical and practical assessments.

In Dietingen, approximately 60 emergency responders participated in a training afternoon involving four distinct scenarios in Böhringen and Rotzenzimmern. The exercises included technical assistance for traffic accidents, focusing on vehicle stabilization and person rescue using specialized tools. Unlike previous large-scale simulations, this session utilized multiple smaller stations to simulate realistic, simultaneous deployments of different departments.
