Fires reported in Bács-Kiskun and Satu Mare

Multiple fires have been reported in Hungary and Romania. In Bács-Kiskun county, near Kunadacs, a fire broke out in a wooded and bushy area. The flames spread over a large area, prompting an emergency response from professional firefighters in Kecskemét and municipal units from Szabadság.

In Romania, a fire occurred at a business site on Spicului Street in the outskirts of Satu Mare. The blaze affected several cubic meters of waste. Firefighters utilized water and foam to contain the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby large quantities of stored waste, which could have produced toxic smoke. Preliminary investigations suggest the fire was likely caused by a mechanical spark. No injuries were reported in the Romanian incident.
