Fires reported in Enego and Miane regions of Italy

Two separate fire incidents were reported in Italy. In Enego, a house fire broke out in the afternoon on via Coste. The fire originated in the chimney area and spread to part of the roof. Firefighters from Asiago, Tezze Valsugana, and Feltre responded to the scene. No injuries were reported, and crews worked to secure the structure.

In the mountainous area of Miane, a large wildfire produced a significant column of smoke visible from a distance. Due to the rugged terrain, ground vehicles were unable to reach the site, necessitating the use of a Civil Protection helicopter and a Canadair aircraft. Water was drawn from Lake Santa Croce to combat the flames. Authorities are investigating whether the fire was caused by high temperatures and drought or human activity.
