Fires reported in Oradea and Bács-Kiskun

A fire broke out in a family home on Lugojului Street in Oradea, Romania, spreading to an adjacent house and affecting an area of approximately 300 square meters. Firefighting units from Oradea responded with three fire engines and a high-altitude rescue vehicle. Emergency medical services were also on site, but no injuries were reported.

In Hungary, a fire destroyed the undergrowth of a ten-hectare pine forest near the border of Izsák and Soltszentimre in Bács-Kiskun county. Multiple municipal and volunteer firefighting units responded to the scene, utilizing seven water jets to extinguish the flames. Cleanup operations have since commenced.
