First aid and CPR courses roll out across Argentina and Mexico
In Buenos Aires, the city fire brigade conducted a practical session at the Hotel Madero, teaching more than thirty hotel employees how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, use an automated external defibrillator and operate fire extinguishers.
The Hotel and Gastronomy Association of San Martín de los Andes organized a similar workshop for hospitality workers, covering first‑aid basics, CPR and AED use. Association president Agustín Roca said, “We continue to invest in continuous training for our employees, because a safe tourist destination is built not only on quality services but also on prepared staff.”
In Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico, the state education secretariat trained over 20 school‑shelter staff in basic first‑aid techniques and emergency response protocols, aiming to improve safety for children in vulnerable communities.
