Five Finger Death Punch Announces New Album “Legacy”

American heavy‑metal band Five Finger Death Punch has announced its tenth studio album, Legacy. The album will be released digitally on July 31, with CD, vinyl and cassette versions arriving on September 18. Alongside the album announcement the band released a new single, “De Oppresso Liber,” and an accompanying music video.

Guitarist Zoltan Bathory said the title reflects a retrospective of the group’s twenty‑year career, describing the album as “a look at our journey, everything we’ve been through and what we leave behind.” Vocalist Ivan Moody added that Legacy is not just a look back but also a glimpse of the band’s future.

The release coincides with the North American leg of the band’s 20th‑anniversary world tour this summer, with a European leg planned for early 2027. Part of the tour revenue will be donated to support U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes preparing for the 2028 Los Angeles Games.
