Five Finger Death Punch announces tenth album 'Legacy' and drops single 'De Oppresso Liber

American hard‑rock band Five Finger Death Punch announced their tenth studio album, Legacy. The digital edition will be released on 31 July 2026, with CD, vinyl and cassette versions arriving on 18 September. Guitarist Zoltan Bathory said, “Every album is a snapshot of who we were at that particular moment in time, and Legacy is exactly what the title suggests.” Frontman Ivan Moody added, “Legacy isn’t about looking backward. Twenty years is a milestone, not a destination.”

The band released the second preview track, “De Oppresso Liber”, accompanied by a video. Bathory described the song as “more than just a motto – a calling, a philosophy, a willingness to stand between danger and those who cannot defend themselves.” The first single, “Eye of the Storm”, has entered the Top 5 on rock radio and amassed over 3.9 million Spotify streams and 1.6 million YouTube views.

To celebrate the album and the band’s 20‑year anniversary, a world tour will begin in North America on 20 July 2026, continue through October, and later reach Europe and other regions in 2027. The tour will feature guest acts including Cody Jinks, Eva Under Fire, Lamb of God and Bleed From Within. Five Finger Death Punch continues its charitable activities, supporting veterans and first‑responders.
