Five Guys launches burger competition docuseries on Prime Video

Five Guys has launched a five-episode docuseries titled ‘On The Line: The World Burger Games’ on Prime Video. The series documents the internal crew competition that tracks employees from local qualifying rounds to a global championship.

The 2026 Five Guys Games concluded on May 13 at The Theater at MGM National Harbor in Maryland. Jonathan Martinez of Poughkeepsie, New York, won the championship, receiving a belt and a $100,000 grand prize. Runner-up Jackson Chimbay of Wallkill, New York, earned $50,000, while third-place finisher Peter Le of Derry, New Hampshire, received $25,000.

Originally started in 2013 as a family initiative by founder Jerry Murrell to recognize restaurant staff, the competition features three speed and precision events: the potato race, the cheese race, and a quality control wrapping race. The series was produced by Full Day Productions in collaboration with Lost Tribe Creative.
