Five‑hour water supply shutdown in Gravina di Puglia on June 23

Acquedotto Pugliese is carrying out extraordinary maintenance on the water network serving Gravina di Puglia (province of Bari). To allow the works, the utility will temporarily suspend water delivery on 23 June 2026 for five hours, from 09:00 to 14:00. The interruption will affect households on Via Federico Meninni, Via Cardinale Fini, Via Suor Addolorata Terribile, Via Maurizio Lettieri, Via Giovanni XXIII, Via Giovanni Consolazione and Via Silvium. Only buildings without a pressure‑boosting system or sufficient water storage are expected to notice any inconvenience. Residents in the affected area are advised to limit non‑essential water use during the outage.

The service suspension is part of the “Project Risanamento Reti 4”, aimed at district‑level management, pressure control and hydraulic monitoring of the AQP‑served territory. The utility also offers an email notification service for real‑time updates on service interruptions.
