Fjällräven repairs over 10,000 items in a year as part of sustainability push

Fjällräven reported that it repaired 10,335 products during the past year, avoiding the need for new replacements. An additional 8,842 items were given new life through the brand’s Pre‑Loved program, extending product lifespans further.

These actions are part of a broader sustainability strategy that includes using only renewable electricity since 2023, cutting operational emissions by 40 % compared with 2019, and increasing the share of low‑impact fibers to 81 % by 2025. The company was recognised with the Best in Sporting Goods title at the German Sustainability Awards. Its 2030 strategy emphasizes durability, circular economy and responsibility across the value chain, with Global Sustainability Director Saskia Bloch underscoring the brand’s duty beyond legal requirements.
