Flipkart, Netflix give Indian Plus members free monthly streaming

Flipkart has teamed up with Netflix to offer its Flipkart Plus loyalty members a complimentary 30‑day Netflix Mobile plan each month. The benefit, which launches on 1 August 2026, is unlocked when a member completes four qualifying orders of at least Rs 299 across Flipkart, Flipkart Grocery or Flipkart Minutes within a calendar month. Once the fourth order is recorded, the Netflix Mobile plan is activated directly in the Flipkart app without any extra payment or separate login and remains valid for 30 days. The reward can be earned again each month by meeting the same shopping threshold. Customers who are not yet Plus members can join the programme at no cost after placing 15 orders over a 12‑month period. Ravi Iyer, Flipkart’s CFO and senior vice‑president for strategic partnerships, said the initiative links everyday purchases to entertainment value, while Netflix’s APAC Partnerships VP Laurent Uguen called it the streaming service’s first e‑commerce partnership in India. The collaboration aims to boost repeat engagement on Flipkart’s marketplace and provide a new experience‑driven incentive for shoppers across metropolitan and tier‑2/3 cities.
