Flitabira International Literary Festival announces debate session

The sixth edition of the Flitabira International Literary Festival in Itabira features a debate titled ‘A Palavra e o Mundo’ (The Word and the World). Scheduled for October 30, 2026, the session includes writers Geraldo Carneiro and Maria Esther Maciel, with mediation by Marcelino Freire.

The event, supported by Vale via the Ministry of Culture’s Rouanet Law, offers free activities and online streaming. The discussion aims to explore literature as a tool for understanding reality through poetry, fiction, and essays, coinciding with the release of new works by the participating authors.
