Félix and Alexis Lebrun eliminated from WTT Champions Montpellier

French table tennis players Félix and Alexis Lebrun were eliminated from the WTT Champions Montpellier tournament held at the Sud de France Arena.

Félix Lebrun, the world number two, lost in the round of 16 to China's Zhou Qihao with a score of 3-1 (7-11, 11-9, 11-8, 11-7). Despite a strong start in the first set, Zhou managed to control the match through superior service and pressure on the opening balls.

Alexis Lebrun was eliminated in the first round, while fellow Frenchman Simon Gauzy also exited in the round of 16. With these losses, no French players remain in the competition. Observers have suggested that fatigue from a heavy recent competition schedule may have played a role in the early exits of the brothers.
