Latin American regions advance diverse public works and infrastructure projects
Various regional governments across Latin America are implementing diverse infrastructure and public works projects.
In Argentina, efforts include the remodeling of Plaza San José in Corrientes, hydraulic improvements at the Hipódromo reservoir in Gualeguay, and urban paving in Realicó. In Oberá, the municipality is expanding animal health facilities.
In Chile, projects range from the reconstruction of the Plaza de Abastos in Illapel to irrigation technology upgrades in Coquimbo and road paving in Petorca. In Mexico, Seduvop is rehabilitating dangerous sections of Highway 57 following a fatal accident.
In Peru, Lima is cleaning the Chillón River basin to mitigate El Niño risks. In Colombia, German funding is supporting rural road infrastructure in Caquetá. Other regional updates include municipal cleaning in Lagunillas, Venezuela, and the return of over 305,000 students to classrooms in Aragua, Venezuela, accompanied by new safety protocols.
