The Florence municipal administration has announced its commitment to protecting the Le Civette nursing home (RSA) in the San Salvi district. Welfare Councilor Nicola Paulesu stated that the city aims to safeguard public service, the quality of care for residents, and the job security of workers currently facing dismissal procedures.

The city intends to participate in a meeting scheduled for October 7 at the Tuscany Region's labor crisis unit. Officials are currently coordinating with the Region and the Local Health Authority (ASL) to discuss the future of the facility and explore solutions to relaunch the structure as a high-quality public service.
