Healthcare training programs announced in Florence, Pistoia, and Piacenza

The Order of Nursing Professions Interprovincial of Florence and Pistoia has announced a series of accredited continuing education (ECM) courses for healthcare professionals. Scheduled for October, the program includes a Basic Life Support (BLS) provider course following the 2025 American Heart Association guidelines, a session on 'defusing' to manage emotional trauma in healthcare settings, and a specialized course on the prevention and treatment of venous ulcers.

In Piacenza, Lilt is continuing its smoking cessation programs. Led by educator Elio Panelli, the initiative utilizes a cognitive-behavioral approach to help individuals overcome tobacco addiction. The program emphasizes that success is highly correlated with the participant's spontaneous motivation and readiness to change.
