Italian sports: Crugnola wins rally and Di Fulvio claims hill climb victory

Various Italian sporting events concluded with significant results across motorsport, cycling, and swimming.

In motorsport, Andrea Crugnola and Luca Beltrame won the Rally Regione Piemonte driving a Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF. In the mountain hill climb competition, Svolte di Popoli, Stefano Di Fulvio secured his fourth victory at the event driving a Nova Proto NP 01 turbo.

In cycling, the Italian Youth Track Championships in Florence saw notable results. Giorgia Timis achieved a double victory in speed events, while the Treviso region secured five national titles. However, the event was marked by controversy in the women's Madison race; after a jury decision awarded the title to Teodora Castelli and Ginevra Sambi, silver medalists Emma Cocca and Nina Marinini protested by placing their medals on the podium.

In swimming, the Italian Category Championships in Rome concluded with Filippo Bertoni achieving a triple victory in the 200m, 400m, and 1500m freestyle Cadet categories. Tommaso Griffante won the Senior men's 1500m freestyle, while Azzurra Sbaragli claimed the Senior women's title.
