Florencio Varela expands road network and opens new rehabilitation centre
The municipality of Florencio Varela completed a series of road‑paving projects in the Villa Vatteone area, converting a dirt artery into concrete and adding ramps and side streets. The improvements, overseen by Mayor Andrés Watson and municipal works secretary Diego Trejo, aim to enhance access to schools, a provincial hospital and other local services.
Governor Axel Kicillof inaugurated the new Comprehensive Rehabilitation Centre in the town, linking the health facility to the province’s broader primary‑care plan. In his remarks he highlighted the revival of the Varela Industrial and Technological Park, which has grown from five firms in 2015 to around 60 establishments, underscoring the municipality’s industrial potential alongside the new health and infrastructure investments.
