Florești food poisoning outbreak affects 32 people

Thirty-two people suffered food poisoning after attending a private event at a local establishment in Florești, Moldova. The National Agency for Public Health (ANSP) confirmed that laboratory tests identified Salmonella Enteritidis in six of the affected individuals.

Investigations are ongoing to determine the specific food products responsible for the outbreak. This incident occurs amid a broader increase in acute diarrheal diseases across Moldova, with 483 cases reported nationwide between September 21 and 27, most of which affected children.
