Florianópolis launches global campaign to attract investment and talent

The Floripa Sustentável movement, a coalition of 50 community entities in Santa Catarina, is launching a new advertising campaign to mark its 10th anniversary. The initiative aims to promote Florianópolis as a strategic hub in the Southern Cone, targeting international and domestic audiences to attract investment, tourism, and intellectual talent, including students and researchers.

A central component of the campaign is a three-minute video with English subtitles designed for global exhibition. The video highlights the city's connectivity, showcasing direct flight connections to the Americas and Europe via its airport, which ranks as the third largest in Brazil for international passengers.

The campaign will be presented at the Tech Cities of the Americas event in Miami from December 2 to 4. The movement's president, Roberto Costa, noted that the campaign celebrates a decade of organized civil society working to dialogue with public authorities and address challenges within the metropolitan region.
