Florida cities dominate top US retirement destinations list

A study by WalletHub has identified the best cities for retirement in the United States, with Florida dominating the top ten list. The top three ranked cities are Orlando, Miami, and Tampa, followed by Fort Lauderdale at number eight.

Minneapolis, Minnesota, also appeared in the top ten, ranking at number seven. The study evaluated various factors to determine these rankings, including quality of life, taxes, culture, parks, walking areas, restaurants, and available activities for retirees.

The report also noted financial concerns regarding retirement readiness, stating that only 21% of people feel very confident they will have enough money to retire comfortably, while 61% feel somewhat confident.
