Florida primary election early voting underway

Early voting is underway across various Florida counties ahead of the primary election scheduled for August 18, 2026.

In several counties, including Citrus, DeSoto, Hardee, Hernando, and Highlands, early voting sites are offering various hours of operation through mid-August. In Flagler County, early voting locations include the Elections Office, Flagler County Public Library, Palm Coast Community Center, Southern Recreation Center, and Wickline Senior Center.

Florida law requires voters to present a current and valid photo ID with a signature to vote in person. Acceptable forms of identification include a Florida driver’s license, Florida identification card, U.S. passport, military ID, and various other government or student-issued IDs. If a photo ID does not contain a signature, a second form of ID with a signature may be presented.
