Florida 2026 primary voting schedule

Overview

Early voting for the August 18, 2026, primary election began on Saturday, Aug 8, and will run through Sunday, Aug 16. Voters can cast ballots at 28 locations statewide, with most sites open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Early-voting locations are available to any voter regardless of precinct.

In addition to Flagler and Palm Beach counties, early voting is currently underway in Citrus, DeSoto, Hardee, Hernando, and Highlands counties. Flagler County sites include the Elections Supervisor’s Office in Bunnell, the Flagler County Public Library in Palm Coast, the Palm Coast Community Center, the Southern Recreation Center, and the Wickline Senior Center. Palm Beach County sites include the Acreage branch library, Palm Beach State College’s Loxahatchee Grove campus, and the Royal Palm Beach and Wellington branch libraries.

To vote in person, Florida law requires a valid photo ID with a signature, such as a Florida driver’s license, Florida identification card, U.S. passport, or military ID. If a photo ID does not include a signature, a second form of ID with a signature must be provided.

An online appointment system is available to help reduce wait times. Completed vote-by-mail ballots may be dropped off at any early-voting site; the main Supervisor’s Office must receive them by 7 p.m. on Election Day, while branch offices and secure intake stations have a 5 p.m. deadline.
