Florida fugitive Isabelle Johnson sought for murder; distinctive tattoos released

Isabelle Johnson, 38, is wanted in Walton County, Florida, for the June 25 murder of 43‑year‑old Jason Coulthart. Coulthart’s body was discovered in a shallow grave on a property in Freeport, wrapped in a zip tie and covered with concrete, with a black Cadillac parked nearby.

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office says Johnson has used multiple aliases—including Harley, Jessica Elaine Bowman, Jessica Elaine Thrush, Jessica Elaine Thrash, Jessica Dowdy and Denise—and may have altered her appearance by dyeing and cutting her hair. She is described as a known fraudster who is considered dangerous.

To aid the public, investigators released details of several distinctive tattoos: a rose or flower design on her left hand, an unidentified tattoo on her right ankle, and a large scorpion extending from her left buttock down her thigh. The sheriff’s office increased the reward for information leading to her arrest to $16,000. Authorities in Florida and Georgia continue to search for her, noting ties to Okaloosa and Walton counties and to locations in Georgia and Alabama.
