Florida Learjet crash kills nine, including tech entrepreneur's family

A Learjet 60 crashed into a mobile home park in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Sunday, killing all nine people on board. The victims included tech entrepreneur Adam Robinson, his wife Helen, their two children, a nanny, two friends, the pilot Jeff G., and 20-year-old co-pilot Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras.

Prior to the impact, the cockpit crew reported difficulties via radio while attempting to fly around a storm. One of the final transmissions stated, “We're going to crash into the ground.” The crash occurred near the Mar-a-Lago private residence.

Former NFL running back Joe Mixon expressed his devastation on social media, revealing that he had traveled on the exact same aircraft with the same two pilots only one month prior to the accident. Mixon praised the crew as “incredible professionals and really wonderful people.”
